Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful and white Christmas here. The kids loved every minute of it.
Here are a few of my favorite pics...

The Biggest gift of the year...Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

The boys got slippers and they have been wearing them all day every day and sleeping in them all night since Christmas day...the slippers really smell bad now from those sweaty little feet!

Random things

1- We now call Target Bulls Eye because the boys beg to go there.

2- As I suspected, Brad's shoes didn't fit. He is now in a 7Wide. He loves his new shoes, his 1st pair of brand new sneakers that Billy didn't wear first. We all know whose feet his resembles. Not mentioning any names.

3- After Gram's exciting month, including a broken hip on the 13th and a heart attack on the 17th, she is doing great! She told me "I'm still kickin, just not quite as high"

4- The boys both ask me "what are you doing" thousands of times a day, every couple of minutes or seconds sometimes. Literally.

5- I had an interesting conversation with Billy about things we are thankful for. His included his ni-night, pork, milk, Mommy, Daddy, Louie (our dog), Pete (his stuffed penguin) Ronnie, but not Bradley.

6- As 6:15am today I was listening to a conversation between the 2 cribs in the boys room...
Brad says "Billy"
"Yeah"
"I stuck. Down."
Billy screams "Quiet!"

7. Ronnie is eating 3 meals a day of baby food. I am currently washing the next size of clothes for her. Amazing.

8. For one day this week, Billy used the potty. Not by my idea, that's for sure.
In the morning he said to me
"Mommy, no more dipes. I too big"
"What?" I respond
"Underwears please, Mommy"

So, reluctantly I got out a pair of Handy Manny underwears. He peed in them twice and then he got it. He told us when he had to go the rest of the day and even told us he had to poop and pooped in the potty.

I later learned that my Dad, aka Pap, had read Billy a potty book over the weekend
while they were visiting. I guess we can't ever think he isn't paying attention!

When he went to bed, we decided that we will do what he wants tomorrow, since this was unplanned and not our idea.

The next morning...
"Mommy"
"Yes?"
"Dipes please, underwears hard work Mommy"

He has been in dipes since.

Cutie

Ronnie isn't sure that this is the best angle for her thighs in this skirt but she is sure that she is seriously cute.

How do you take your coffee?

Rich requires his morning coffee. More than most people. The sooner he has it the better.
Every morning while he tries to drink it Brad is crawling all over him and often spills it. It didn't spill this morning, but Noah went for a swim.
I think Noah had enough swimming during the 40 days and 40 nights but the question of the day is...Do you take your coffee with or without Noah?

So sweet

T is for Turkey

Presents!

Nani helped the boys make me awesome presents!

I was so happy that I displayed them on my hutch! Thank you!

Friday the 13th

What a day. We are having lots of rain here so another day with the kids in the house which unfortunately means lots of hitting, crying and time out.

My Gram fell and broke her hip today. She had surgery and did well. Please remember her in your prayers as she recovers. She is a feisty woman so I'm sure she is already telling someone that she wants to go home.

Today was my Moms last day of work. Ever...
Congrats Momma on all you have done and for all your hard work. You are truly an inspiration to me and many others and I hope my kids inherit your work ethic and dedication. The kids are happy to have a full time Noni now! Love you and miss you lots!

For the daily activities here at the house- We celebrated Rich's Mom aka Mom-Mom's birthday with pizza and lots of playing with the kids. They were exhausted and went right to sleep.

Hopefully the rain will stop soon so we can get them outside sometime this weekend!

A determined Billiam

Lastnight we went to Babies R Us and Billy saw a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Box and went nuts. Rich told him that if he wanted to get it he had to drag it to the front of the store. He kept saying he had a "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Box" and he pulled it all through the store. He has no idea what it inside the box and actually forgot about it by the time we got home so we are saving it for Christmas. It is a pop up tent of the clubhouse which he is going to go more nuts over than anything ever. Seriously.

He was so funny pulling the box around! I took this with my cell phone so it isn't great but you can see his determination. The best part is that he just thought he was getting a box and was thrilled!

Tent City

Yesterday, to break up a rainy day, Rich set up this tent and teepee connected by a tunnel. The boys had a great time playing in it and "fixing" it with their Handy Manny tools. Billy has teepee backwards and calls it is "peetee" which is really funny.

My conversation today with Bradley

"Mommy"

"Yes"

"I love you"

"I love you too Buggy"

When the music takes over

Playing in the leaves

Yesterday, the 5 of us went outside to have some fun raking and jumping in piles of leaves. It was fun for some. Not as much fun for others.

Billy loved it, he ran and jumped in them a hundred times!

Brad was unsure about this and stood by watching

Ronnie was watching too

Me and my girl

Daddy finally scooped up Brad and ran in He wasn't happy about it

He stopped crying long enough to take this nice picture

Brad decided it was safer to keep an eye on Ronnie

And, sit with me on the steps

Daddy and Billy kept playing while we watched and laughed!

At the end of the day, Billy had leaves in his hair, he was covered in dirt, still had some lunch on his face(grilled cheese and tomato soup) and lots of snot.
